Why hello Monday, fancy seeing you here. You always come by so quickly. Fingers crossed you bring some much needed sunshine with you today, the past week or so here in Brisbane has been all wet & rainy. I'm sure fellow mums would agree, rainy weather & no dryer = a whole lot of washing.

Washing chatter aside...Madeit Monday this week is inspired by my love for elephants. We recently went to Australia Zoo with Laurens fam & the elephants were beyond beautiful. I was lucky enough to feed one, twice! :) My heart smiled that day.

busy bees

Leading up to Christmas, both myself & Lauren have been busy little bees stocking our Madeit store with new goodies. We've also been back at the Markets after having a couple of months break from them. There's nothing quite like having our creations 'out there' & seeing peoples reactions face-to-face when they see them. It's such a lovely feeling for us both to know that our creations are loved as much as we love making them :)

 Our next Market stall is this Sunday the 5th December at Chandler Markets. It's one of our favourite to attend as there is such a wide variety of things to be seen. Ranging from fresh fruit & vegetables, handmade crafts, pretty ornaments & knick knacks, fresh flowers, & preloved goodies...these markets have it all! There's also live music, awesome food & a jumping castle for the kiddies every week :)

my creative space...

After suffering a very long period of no motivation, I feel creative and inspired. This is probably due to finally feeling like a normal human being again, after an exhaustion-filled first 17 weeks of pregnancy. I've actually been excited to sit at my craft desk, so I thought I'd share what I'm working on at the moment....

Fabric covered buttons for earrings, rings and clips. My favourite are the satin and lace versions, which eventually turn into these:

my creative space...

This is the first time we've joined in on 'My Creative Space'. For a long time we've browsed & commented other bloggers posts...until today :)

One of the newest additions to our range of wearables is mini snap clips. They are so teeny & cute. Krystal lines hers with different coloured pieces of soft felt, which she cuts along the edges with using pinking shearers.

 Don't they look oh so pretty in rainbow order..

Here's a little sneak peek of our Christmas range we will have listed in our Madeit store over the next week :) We are planning on making the majority of our Christmas range wearable all year round & not 'just' at Christmas time. Inspired by the lovely change of seasons lately, today's theme is 'trees.' Today has been such a beautiful, warm day here in Brisbane. The sun is shining, leaves are rustling & the birds are chirping. Combined with a delicious cup of English breakfast tea its pretty much perfect :)
